May to November is the best time of the year for Rushton Farm, which makes a growing season for a broad variety of produce. Occupying just 6 acres within the Rushton Woods Preserve, the organic farm is an integral part of the entire ecosystem, attracting a variety of birds, amphibians, herps, butterflies and moths, and many other species to inhabit here. Its unique scenery and production value also makes Rushton farm a center of the local Community Supported Agriculture program.
