Maria Mendoza is a researcher at the Laboratory of Optical and Computational Instrumentation, University of Wisconsin. Together with her team, she develops advanced optical and computational techniques for imaging and studying living tissues for breast cancer treatment. In this video, she shared with me the stories of her research experience.
I worked with filmmaker David Hoffman on the Lab-TV project, which produces short video profiles of young lab researchers across the country. My video is lucky enough to win the LabTV semi-finalist award.
Kristin Riching, a colleague of Maria, also has a story about her passion for medical science.
